With the G4 hardly out with the gate, it appears a little future talking
about a successor. However, speaking in Taipei, LG Electronics says
that another flagship smartphone continues to be planned for that second
half of 2015, as being the company seeks to further improve sales in
Taiwan and around the globe.
LG is hoping that sales in Taiwan increases by thirty percent from recently once each its flagships are stored on the market. As of April, LG had been able to shift around 220,000 units of the last-gen handsets in the united states and the corporation estimates that sales on the G4 will reach 300,000 next twelve months. Globally, the corporation is aiming towards around tens of millions of G4 sales in 2010. However, we’re still none the wiser regarding the second flagship that LG hopes will boost sales, or perhaps if it are ever going to be released outside in the Asian market.
Back in March, LG had said who's was going to release another smartphone that “stands on top of the G series”, producing speculation that the organization could be preparing a competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Note series. However, a dual-flagship business design is nothing a new comer to LG, a year ago’s G Pro 2 would have been a high-end device, however some rumors advise that this line-up might be scrapped. Interestingly, LG says the specifications because of its second flagship in 2010 still have not been finalized, suggesting which the development team remains to be testing out various options.
